Snacking in between meals is great for regulating blood sugar levels. Regulating our blood sugar levels helps keep our hormones and energy levels in balance. It also allows us to sleep better, stress less and helps to improve our moods. Choosing whole, unprocessed, unrefined foods that have a Low Glycemic Load (Low GL) ensures a slower steadier release of energy/sugar avoiding sugar spikes and dips that tend to make us feel tired, hungry, anxious, or moody.
